Landing Nets/Cradles and Matts
- Anglers must have a landing net and cradles of adequate size to accommodate the size of the fish. A minimum size of 42” long and 24” wide with a thick base must be used and air matts are allowed.
- All nets, matts, and cradles must be dipped before use to stop the spread of diseases.
No Standing with Fish:
- Fish should be handled carefully, and anglers should not stand while holding them or carry them in landing and all photos must be taken kneeling down over a cradles or matt.
Fish Retention:
- Retaining fish in keep nets is prohibited at all times
Carp Care Kits:
- Anglers must use carp care kits to treat any injuries. Fish should be returned to the water in a healthy condition.
Unattended Rods:
- Rods should not be left unattended at any time if you have to leave your swim all rods must be out of the water completely as unattended rods in the water can lead to fish becoming snagged or injured.
Bait Restrictions:
- certain baits like live baits & nuts, bloodworm, joker, or floating fake baits must not be used at anytime and dead bait must be bought from the shop and unopened before being inspected by staff and use.
Line Restrictions:
- Braided mainline, lead core, are not allowed and all lines must be a minimum of 15lb for carp and 20lb on the cat lake and all lines must have tubing on them at all times.
Barbed Hooks.
- Are not allowed to be used on any of the lakes in the fishery this includes micro-barbed
- Barbless hooks only.
Swim Boundaries:
- Anglers must fish from designated swims and not fish between them.
Litter:
- All litter, including fishing line, must be taken with you and disposed of properly and all must be left clean and tidy.
Parking:
- vehicles will not be allowed access until 7am and no access after 7pm
- Parking in designated areas will be assigned by fishery staff plus vehicle movement between the quiet times of 9pm to 7am is totally prohibited.
Guests:
- The number of guests allowed may be limited during busy periods.
Noise:
- Excessive noise, including loud music, is prohibited also the fishery operates a quit time between 9pm to 7amand must be respected failure to do so will result in removal.
Respect:
- Anglers are expected to respect other anglers and the fishery staff at all times.
Safety:
- Rules are in place to ensure the safety of anglers and prevent accidents.
Licenses:
- Anglers must possess a valid fishing license at all times.
Bait Boats:
- Must not be used unless permission is given by fishery owner or staff.
Dogs:
- Dogs may be allowed on site but must be kept on a lead and cleaned up any mess left.
Bans:
- Repeated or serious violations of the rules may result in a ban from the fishery.
Removal:
- Anglers may be asked to leave the premises for violating the rules.
Drugs:
- Are totally prohibited at all time whilst on the fishery premises failure to comply will result in being asked to leave the premises.
